Elaine Hsieh
Director at Large
Elaine is new to the Shu Ren board and has children in 1st and 3rd grade. She is an event enthusiast and a community builder. She finds joy in meeting new people and making connections.
Audrey Wang 王安
Board Member at Large
Audrey served as the board secretary from 2016-2021. She hopes to support the Mandarin Language immersion program through the efforts of Shu Ren of Portland. She currently has children in the 3rd and 7th grade immersion program.
Kelli George
Chair
Kelli, currently serving as the board chair, has been actively involved with Shu Ren for 9 years. She is passionate about supporting our school communities with opportunities to be exposed to Chinese language and culture. She has children in 4th, 7th and 9th grade.
Jackson Weinberg
Secretary
Jackson has been through the mandarin immersion program from K-12. He recently graduated from Cleveland High School he has been a very active member of the MIP community and district activism.
Jacque Leong
Treasurer
Jacqueline was the Chair of Shu Ren for 5 years and has been on the board for 9 years. She currently has children in 8th & 10th grades. Her focus in Shu Ren has been to help build bridges for cross-cultural learning in our community and to advocate for dual language programs that serve students' learning.
