There are a lot of ways to get involved in and support the Mandarin Immersion Program.
Get involved in Shu Ren
The Annual Gala is one of the largest fundraisers Shu Ren puts on every year. Lots of volunteers make this event more fun for everyone as the load is spread out. It is also a great opportunity to socialize and get to know more parents in the program. You can jump in with both feet or even just offer to help sell tickets at the front of the school once or twice. Everything is helpful and it is wonderful to know you were a part of it.

Volunteer at the School (Woodstock, Hosford or Cleveland)
*Parents and family members interested in volunteering in PPS classrooms or chaperoning field trips need to fill out a volunteer form and pass a criminal history check. The form may be downloaded here with the link below and turned into the main office of the school you want to volunteer at. Check with schools to verify fees, typically $5 processing fee.
Shu Ren holds a lot of different fund raisers through out the year. Zodiac T-Shirt sales, Dumpling Festival and Greens sales, the annual Gala and so on. The Mandarin Immersion Program can only benefit from parents willingness to donate and/or get involved to make these events happen.
Parents are welcome to be classroom volunteers*, chaperones for field trips*, PTA supporters and volunteering on occation in your childs home room to assist the teacher by filing or doing other tasks.
